Wearing the right clothing or footwear is actually very important for our emotional well-being. When we have no make-up on, wearing our 'slobby' clothes and bed hair, we tend to be less motivated, less confident and more sluggish. So when you're feeling a little down in the dumps, don't reach for the chocolates and sweets! Consider making an extra effort to feel good about yourself with a new wardrobe.

Even by looking at your existing wardrobe and making changes to your normal style combinations, will help you to feel confident and like a new you :-) it's true! Having the right clothes and footwear will help you feel increasingly better about yourself. And depending on the occasion depends on your choice of clothing and in turn how that makes you feel. For example for a job interview, we usually dress formally, wearing a smart suit, perfect hair and make-up and smart shoes. This tends to make us stand taller, feel more confident, more impressive and assertive. Well other aspects of our lives have that very same affect, providing we wear the right clothing…

So next time you feel like slipping on your flipflops, dressing gown and tying back your hair, think again! Experiment with what works for you, your complexion, your stature, physique and height. You will be surprised what an enormous difference the right clothing will make to your entire life - and you never know who you may just bump into at the local shop :-)

As well as this, even with a simple summer dress or leggings and a simple top, the right footwear can work wonders to improve your self esteem. Smart, comfortable boots will work with almost any clothing combination and instantly make you feel better about yourself. You don't have to dress with heels or go over the top to make changes to the way you feel and the way you appear to others.
